Welcome to Fifth Grade!!!
Dear Parents and Guardians, I am so excited to be your child’s fifth grade teacher for the 2018-2019, school year! This letter is to help inform you of some of the classroom procedures. Birthday’s - We love to celebrate birthdays. Please, notify me a few days in advance, if you will be being in a special treat for your child’s special day. We currently have 20 students in class. Summer birthdays will be celebrated in June. Food Allergies- We do have a few allergies this year: chocolate, milk, coconut, cinnamon, diary products, eggs and processed corn. Please, be mindful when sending in snacks. Try to avoid snacks with these ingredients. Scholastic Book Orders- Our classroom will be participating in Scholastic Books. Once a month, families will have the option to purchase books through Scholastic. Book-It -Our classroom will also participate in the Book-It reading program beginning in October.
